Racing Accomplishments
|
- My latest attempt at a major accomplishment was at the NY Mayor's Cup in October 2008. I was 9.5 miles in when it was cancelled :) I am just getting into doing BIG races;
- I've done a lot of local races, and have been finishing at the top of the women's category in Florida.
- I also organize the Shark Bite Challenge and am captain of the Kai Aniani Canoe Club Ladies' Team.
- Also, surviving a race in that double with Rob is a major accomplishment!

| Other Significant Athletic Accomplishments: |
Back in the day, I was a nationally ranked synchronized swimmer. I've done some running races and an adventure triathlon - but I am not a terrestial athlete, I'm an aquatic one! |
| What you like about surfskis, surfski racing, paddling: |
There is so much, I don't know if I have enough room to write it... I like being able to get out and go with little fuss. I like getting out on the water and getting a great workout. I like spending time with friends who all have like interests. I love racing! I like being able to ride waves. I even like the solitude of paddling by myself too. I like it when the dolphins play with me and my boat..... |
