 10 to 12 years on a surf ski, 30 years of surfski / canoe racing.

 Salem Sound on the North Shore or Orleans area on the Cape
Favorite Surfski Race, Why?

The recently defunct Gerrish island race. Laid back race with rough water and an elapsed time of under 90 minutes

Racing Accomplishments

Sticking with some form of canoe/kayak racing for 30 years.
What you like about surfskis, surfski racing, paddling:

I like paddling at a brisk clip on a boat that responds to every thing you put into it. I like paddling in challenging conditions, and getting a nice long workout with some sightseeing along the way - not park and play.
